Natalie and Wesley celebrated their summer wedding along the river in Benton Harbor, surrounded by family, faith, and an incredible amount of emotion. The ceremony was the center of their day, and they chose to share their very first kiss at that exact moment, which made it deeply meaningful and unforgettable. They wanted their photos to feel bright, playful, and joyful, so I focused on natural light, soft movement, and genuine expressions that showed who they are together.
It was one of the hottest days of the year, but the breeze off the water kept everyone comfortable and created an easy, romantic atmosphere from beginning to end. My husband and I are a bit awkward in front of the camera, but somehow Cat worked her magic and we absolutely love all the photos she took. She made us super comfortable and gave so much direction on the day of. We also got married on the literal hottest day of the summer, but she was so great and kind! I would definitely recommend Cat to anyone as she is so sweet and talented and the work she does is worth every penny and then some!
